Why We Exist
Brave Little Heroes is a veteran-founded nonprofit dedicated to strengthening the mental health and stability of military, veteran, and first responder families. We do this by reducing childcare stress and providing practical, family-centered early childhood education support that helps parents stay stable, children thrive, and Hero households navigate the demands of service and transition with greater resilience. Our programs are designed as prevention-focused support that address a major barrier to family well-being while honoring the sacrifices made by those who serve.
We exists because the families behind service deserve support too.
Military, veteran, and first responder households often carry heavy responsibilities, from unpredictable schedules and deployments to financial pressure and emotional stress. We believe that when families have access to stable childcare and practical early childhood development support, they are better able to care for one another, protect their mental health, and build stronger, more resilient lives.
Our mission is to serve as a steady source of support for the Heroes at home, helping them thrive through every season of service.
“For the heroes who protect us - and the little heroes they raise.”
